Overview We are seeking an experienced and strategic LEAD PRODUCT OWNER – ServiceNow to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving the development, enhancement, and management of ServiceNow platforms and related IT solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in product management, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and IT infrastructure, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions that align with business goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead cross-functional teams, influence product strategy, and ensure the successful delivery of enterprise-grade ServiceNow implementations.
Duties
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of ServiceNow products, including requirements gathering, prioritization, and roadmap development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into technical specifications and user stories.
- Manage product backlog using Agile methodologies, including Scrum and SAFe frameworks, ensuring timely delivery of features.
- Coordinate with development teams utilizing project management tools such as Jira, TFS, and VersionOne to track progress and manage sprints.
- Oversee the design and wireframing of user interfaces using tools like Balsamiq to enhance user experience.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), develop test cases, and ensure quality standards are met before deployment.
- Engage with IT infrastructure teams to align platform capabilities with enterprise IT governance policies.
- Analyze analytics data from platforms like Looker to inform product improvements and strategic decisions.
- Lead efforts in API integrations, SaaS solutions, IoT devices, and mobile applications to expand platform functionalities.
- Communicate effectively across technical teams, executive leadership, and external partners to ensure alignment on project goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role within software development environments utilizing Agile, SAFe, Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes, requirements gathering, wireframing, and test case creation.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform management and development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, SQL, HTML; familiarity with APIs and Git version control systems.
- Knowledge of cloud services like AWS and SaaS architectures; experience with Internet of Things (IoT) is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management tools including Jira, TFS, VersionOne; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent analysis skills combined with leadership qualities to guide cross-functional teams effectively.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and documentation purposes.
- Experience working within IT governance frameworks and managing enterprise IT infrastructure projects is highly desirable. - Experience leading large-scale ServiceNow transformations (CSM, ITSM, CRM).
- Healthcare experience preferred.
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
