The ServiceNow Development Team at GovCIO seeks a skilled ServiceNow developer to join their team.

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow developer to join our team at the VA's Network Security and Operations Center (NSOC). As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for developing custom applications using the ServiceNow platform.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow custom applications to meet the needs of various business stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise
• Provide training and support to end-users on new features and applications
• Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

Requirements:

• At least three years of experience with ServiceNow platform capabilities
• Certification in ServiceNow Application Development
• Experience with scripted web-services, AJAX, business rules, JavaScript, SOAP, REST SSO-SAML setup, and integration of ServiceNow to other applications
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
