We are looking for a high caliber, multidimensional ServiceNow Certified Platform Administrator who will provide support in managing and maintaining our ServiceNow platform and related products, which are used across the enterprise for multiple technology and business processes. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers & product managers to develop, configure and customize the platform to meet the organization's requirements, in addition to troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, monitoring system performance and supporting end users.

What You’ll Do...

  • Monitor the health, administration, and usage of ServiceNow, its applications, and mid-servers
  • Optimize stability and usability of ServiceNow through regular application maintenance
  • Collaborate with team members to design best solutions for technical issues
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on the platform, including diagnosing and resolving incidents and problems, investigating and resolving system errors and providing timely resolution to end users.
  • Leads platform upgrade planning and execution
  • Manage instance security: user/group access, administration, access control lists, etc.
  • Ensure instance is in compliance with various regulatory frameworks including SOX, ISO, SOC-1, etc.
  • Provide support for products released by the team
  • Automate certain UAT processes to more reliably detect code defects
  • Routinely audit the environment to ensure sensitive data is being handled appropriately
  • Serve as the SME/point of contact for base instance integrations, table APIs, data imports, etc.
  • Assist in the documentation of ServiceNow configurations, customizations and processes for reference and knowledge sharing purposes.
  • Provide end-user support and training, including creating user documentation and delivering training sessions, to help users effectively utilize the ServiceNow platform.
  • Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, functionalities and best practices, and continuously improve skills and knowledge related to ServiceNow administration.

Here are the skills and experiences we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, or related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or equivalent experience navigating and performing administration tasks on platform
  • Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform concepts, including forms, workflows, UI actions, business rules, and integrations.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience presenting both verbal and written ideas to colleagues, stakeholders & cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal is required
  • Foundational understanding of Scrum and Agile principles & ceremonies

Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience/ combination of education and experience
