Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lateral Functional Consultant with deep expertise in one or more functional domains such as Source to Pay (S2P), Finance, or related operational processes. The ideal candidate should be well-versed with enterprise platforms (Oracle, SAP, Salesforce/SFDC, etc.) within their focused function and experienced in client-facing delivery activities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support end-to-end project delivery within your functional area.

Conduct gap analysis, requirement gathering sessions, and business process mapping.

Prepare and deliver client demos, ensuring functional readiness and alignment.

Work closely with technical teams to translate business needs into functional specifications.

Manage and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), including test planning, issue tracking, and validation.

Analyze business requirements and propose effective, scalable solutions.

Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Operations, and PMO teams.

Ensure high-quality documentation (BRDs, FRDs, process flows) and adherence to project governance.

Leverage platform understanding of Oracle, SAP, SFDC, or similar enterprise systems to drive functional outcomes.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong functional expertise in S2P, Finance, or related business domains.

Hands-on experience in gap analysis, requirement gathering, UAT handling, and functional delivery.

Good understanding of at least one enterprise platform (Oracle, SAP, SFDC, etc.) within the chosen function.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation capabilities.

Industry knowledge in relevant verticals is preferred.

Ability to work in a structured, fast-paced delivery environment.
