Title: ServiceNow CMDB Technical Advisor
Job Overview: The ServiceNow CMDB Technical Advisor will play a pivotal role in enhancing and stabilizing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) at Coaxxion Business Solutions. The candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough CMDB assessments, developing improvement roadmaps, and leading technical implementations. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background in ServiceNow CMDB, keen problem-solving abilities, and effective stakeholder communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of the current ServiceNow CMDB setup and develop strategic roadmaps for enhancements and stabilization.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve the quality and reliability of CMDB data.
- Troubleshoot and enhance existing CMDB interfaces, ensuring efficient and accurate data integration.
- Develop and oversee technical project plans, including key milestones, and provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.
- Create detailed ServiceNow epics and stories to guide development efforts.
- Document all key technical decisions, issues, and enhancements throughout the development lifecycle.
- Coordinate with the support team to ensure smooth transitions from development to operational stages.
- Provide expert guidance and advice to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure project success.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with project team members and stakeholders.
- Undertake additional related tasks and deliverables as required by the department.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- University degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a technical lead on ServiceNow platform implementations, specifically with a strong focus on ServiceNow CMDB.
- Proven ability to use data and analytics to inform problem solving and decision-making processes.
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of leading discussions and presentations with a diverse set of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in ServiceNow or IT Service Management.
- Experience in a consultancy role, particularly in IT services or business solutions sectors.
Work Environment: This role operates in a dynamic, fast-paced office setting. It involves regular collaboration with other departments and interaction with various levels of management. Occasional remote work may be permissible depending on project requirements and company policies.
