ServiceNow ITOM Consultant

Nelson Frank are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Consultant.

This position plays a pivotal role in supporting enterprise client to evaluate their current ITOM maturity, identify areas for improvement, and develop a roadmap for optimization and transformation that aligns with organizational objectives. The consultant will collaborate closely with client stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to assess current implementations, provide actionable recommendations, and facilitate strategic planning for future-state ITOM capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment & Strategy-

• Lead comprehensive assessments of ServiceNow ITOM implementations, covering Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, and AlOps modules.
• Examine current: state architecture, data quality, integration points, technical debts and operational workflows to understand the existing environment. Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks within ITOM processes and configurations.

Preferred Qualifications-

• Discovery or Service Mapping is must certification.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
• Experience with CMDB modelling tools and data governance frameworks.

Technical Expertise-

• Demonstrate ServiceNow ITOM Module capabilities to the customer.
• Guide customer on ServiceNow ITOM Module licenses effective utilization.
• Assess Discovery patterns, schedules, credentials, and coverage to ensure effective discovery processes.
• Evaluate CMDB health, focusing on Cl data quality, relationships, reconciliation, and normalization.
• Review Event Management integrations, alert correlation rules, and the effectiveness of operational dashboards.

Required Skills & Experience-

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM modules.
• Demonstrated success in conducting ITOM assessments and delivering strategic recommendations.
