Job Description :

What you have done and what you will do:

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with multiple implementations of the core ITOM applications such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, SAM/HAM.
  • Led at least three full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations.
  • Strong understanding of CMDB data models, CI relationships, and experience configuring CMDB for advanced technologies like containers and cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Proven experience implementing the Common Services Data Model (CSDM) up to the Fly maturity level.
  • Ability to analyze existing business services and map their relationships with other CIs to support ITSM processes like Incident, Change, DevOps, Vulnerability Response, etc.
  • Experience configuring Discovery probes, sensors, and patterns to maintain accurate and high-quality CMDB data; including transitioning to pattern-based discovery.
  • Strong ServiceNow platform skills with hands-on scripting experience; exposure to ATF, Service Portal, Platform Analytics, and UI Builder is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience improving Discovery performance, expanding coverage, and creating effective dashboards to highlight CMDB health for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems.
  • Ability to use both proven and innovative technology approaches to solve complex business problems.
  • Provide technical assessments, documentation, and subject-matter expertise.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing knowledge with the team.
  • Advise on solution options, risks, and impacts related to business processes and technical architecture.

What we would like and expect to see:

  • 5+ years as a key resource on large-scale ITOM solutions, including 3+ years as a ServiceNow Architect, Lead, or Solution Consultant.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM, especially Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
  • Proven track record overseeing multiple successful ServiceNow ITOM implementations.
  • Expert knowledge of third-party integrations, Discovery probes/sensors/patterns, Service Mapping configurations, and Event Management rules used for event/alert correlation.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to teams, managers, and vendors.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications in Service Mapping and Event Management (SAM and Cloud Management are added advantages).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent education/experience.
