ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture

Location: 100% REMOTE Duration: 6+ months Contract Responsibilities/Requirements: We are seeking a ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture (EA) Consultant with strong experience in Application Portfolio Management (APM). With the Xanadu release (late 2024), ServiceNow rebranded the APM module under Enterprise Architecture (EA). This role will focus on implementing, configuring, and optimizing ServiceNow EA capabilities, including application portfolio management, business capability mapping, and strategic IT planning.

Key Responsibilities

• ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture (EA) - formerly APM
• Implement and configure ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture (EA) module (rebranded from APM in the Xanadu release).
• Manage application portfolios, including application lifecycle, ownership, cost, risk, and technical health.
• Perform application rationalization and support modernization initiatives.
• Define and maintain application scoring models (business value, risk, technical fit).
• Integrate EA/APM with CMDB, Discovery, ITOM, and ITSM.
• Ensure high data quality for application, technology, and capability portfolios.
• Architecture & Strategy
• Develop and maintain business capability models and map them to applications and technologies.
• Support as-is and to-be architecture views and roadmaps.
• Establish technology standards, reference architectures, and target-state roadmaps.
• Enable data-driven decision-making for CIO, EA, and IT leadership.
• Governance & Reporting
• Support architecture governance and portfolio review boards.
• Create executive dashboards and reports using ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).

Required Skills & Must Have

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow APM / Enterprise Architecture (EA).
• Strong understanding of application portfolio management and enterprise architecture concepts.
• Experience with CMDB integrations and ServiceNow data model.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
