ServiceNow Architect (Senior / Lead Level)

Description

The ServiceNow Architect is responsible for designing, governing, and overseeing enterprise-level ServiceNow implementations. This role defines platform architecture, integration strategy, data models, and technical standards while providing leadership and guidance to development teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules
• Define and enforce platform standards, governance, and best practices
• Design and oversee integrations using REST, SOAP, OAuth2, MID Server, and APIs
• Own CMDB architecture and Common Services Data Model (CSDM) alignment
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ServiceNow developers
• Guide scripting and customization using JavaScript, Glide API, and Business Rules
• Lead upgrade planning, version control, update sets, and deployments
• Ensure security, performance, scalability, and compliance
• Partner with leadership and clients on ServiceNow strategy and roadmap
• Serve as the technical authority during complex implementations

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow implementation experience
• 3+ years in a lead, senior developer, or architect role
• Deep expertise in ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, and CMDB
• Advanced experience with ServiceNow scripting and integrations
• Strong understanding of ITIL and mapping processes to ServiceNow
• Experience leading large-scale or multi-module implementations
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required
• CAD or CTA (or CTA-track) strongly preferred
