Senior IT Specialist (Salesforce, SimpliGov, MS Dynamics,ServiceNow, Waterfall, Agile, Power BI)

The NC Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking a short-term (approx. 12 month) Sr. Specialist for a critical project to co develop an incident reporting application/information system ( "Solution ) on the SimpliGov platform.

REQUIRED/DESIRED SKILLS Skills Required/ Desired Experience

Experience implementing applications using Salesforce, SimpliGov, MS Dynamics and/or ServiceNow. Required 3 Years Ability to adapt working style to ensure compliance with the State's and DHHS' methodologies Required Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills. Required Ability to act independently with sound business judgment, attention to detail and thrives in environment with diverse communication styles Required Demonstrated oral and written communication, presentation and problem-solving skills. Required Demonstrated experience with Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid software development frameworks. Required 5 Years Knowledge of healthcare and managed care systems with an emphasis on behavioral health, developmental disabilities and substance use. Desired 5 Years State/federal experience. Desired 7 Years Results-oriented, self-motivated individual with a very strong work ethic. Required Experience configuring and building complex workflow automation applications using low-code no-code platforms. Required Experience developing custom objects, workflows, validation & business rules, and trigger notifications. Required Any System Administrator, Developer, certifications experience is preferred. Highly desired Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Teams (MS Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Visio), Microsoft Power BI Required 7 Years Experience creating dashboards and reports Required Experience with integration tools such as Boomi Required Experience with data conversion Required Experience with SharePoint end user experience, sites, libraries, lists and groups Required Experience with software implementation projects and with Cloud technologies Highly desired Evaluate existing small-scale .NET apps (C#, VB.NET), understand their bus processes, and determine the most suitable modernization platform Highly desired Once platform is selected, rewrite them into modern platforms such as Power Apps, ServiceNow, or Salesforce. Highly desired Migrating SAS/Access-based reports into Power BI for automation and interactive dashboards. Highly desired Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, and Blob Storage Highly desired
