Solutions Architect - ServiceNow

Main Sail is seeking a ServiceNow Solutions Architect to support a National Nuclear Security Administration Client at the Pantex Plant in Amarillo TX.

Knowledge, Skillset, and Abilities (KSAs):

• ServiceNow partner with certified expertise in SPM PRO module (CIS over 100).
• Implementation experience and overall knowledge of ServiceNow with experience in Zurich (or Xanadu) version, specifically in Strategic Portfolio Management PRO (SPM PRO) - formerly known as Hybrid Project Management.
• Experience with implementing / using Project Management, Portfolio Management, and Resource Capacity Planning across all projects, to include optimizing ways to track and report on non-project and project work. Experience in creating new portfolios, programs, workflows, resource management and roadmaps. Experience in configuring views, reports, and dashboards - all related to portfolio and project metrics.

Specific Requirements:

• Contractor will guide the IT Business Office and admins with configuring / implementing SPM Pro Zurich, to include portfolio planning and management, project management, project prioritization, resource management, road maps, capacity planning, and financial planning.
• Contractor will guide the IT Business Office with setting up metrics, reporting, dashboards, and roadmaps.
• Contractor will assist in creating a resource pool of all IT resources and subcontractors and creating resource management by assignments to project tasks.
• Contractor will demonstrate how to manage and track non-project work to provide a comprehensive view of resource allocations across all resources in IT.
• Contractor will provide expertise and knowledge around making sure adequate user rights have been established for the different roles.

Specific Deliverables:

• Configured instance of Strategic Portfolio Management Pro (ServiceNow Xanadu or Yokohama or Zurich version preferred).
• Verification that user rights have been correctly established based on user roles.
• Portfolios created based on lenses.
• Imported IT projects residing in the appropriate portfolios.
• Create one roadmap, consisting of multiple projects.
• Resource assignments as shown in overall availability.
• A prioritized list of at least 20 projects.
• Capacity Planning view that provides a comprehensive view of capacity, allocations, and utilization of resources.
• Resource managers ability to approve requested resource assignments based on availability information or heatmaps.

Location: Combination of on and off site - Pantex Plant, Amarillo TX. Travel required - 1-3 trips total Period of Performance: 4 months, 1 year option - 600 hours/40hrs per week.
