Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with specialized expertise in migrating data from SharePoint to ServiceNow. The ideal candidate will design and execute seamless data migration strategies, ensuring data integrity and performance while working closely with stakeholders to map and validate complex data structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute end-to-end data migration strategies from SharePoint to ServiceNow.
• Analyze existing SharePoint data structures, metadata, and permissions to ensure accurate transfer.
• Develop and implement data mapping, transformation, and validation logic.
• Build and maintain import sets, transform maps, and custom migration scripts.
• Write complex JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules, and background scripts.
• Manage the migration of attachments, versioning, and metadata from SharePoint.
• Perform comprehensive data cleansing, reconciliation, and post-migration validation.
• Troubleshoot migration issues, optimize performance, and ensure data security and access controls are maintained.
• Create detailed technical documentation for migration processes and scripts.

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a focus on data migration.
• Hands-on experience specifically with SharePoint to ServiceNow data migration.
• Expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideRecord, Script Includes, Business Rules).
• Proficiency with Import Sets, Transform Maps, and REST/SOAP integrations.
• Ability to handle large data volumes, complex data structures, and attachments.
• Strong understanding of data security, roles, and access controls within ServiceNow.
• Ability to debug and optimize scripts for performance.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical background or education in Computer Science or related fields.
• ServiceNow certifications are highly desirable.
