Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow solutions for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate has strong experience with platform configuration, scripting, workflow automation, integrations, and Agile development practices.
This role involves hands-on configuration, scripting, and automation on the ServiceNow platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow platform components, including forms, tables, lists, and ACLs.
- Develop customizations using JavaScript and the ServiceNow Glide API, including business rules, client scripts, UI actions, and UI policies.
- Design and implement workflow automation using Flow Designer, workflows, approvals, and notifications.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub.
- Participate in full development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Follow Agile methodologies and collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and QA teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in ServiceNow platform fundamentals (forms, tables, lists, ACLs).
- Strong JavaScript skills and experience with Glide API.
- Experience with Flow Designer, workflows, approvals, and notifications.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub.
- Knowledge of full development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Nice-to-Have / Bonus Skills
- Experience with Service Portal development
- Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, or ITBM modules
- Exposure to CI/CD processes in ServiceNow
