Job Description

To accelerate our next phase of growth in India, ServiceNow has expanded its dedicated Financial Services Industry (FSI) organization. We are building a team of collaborative leaders who are passionate about transforming India’s rapidly evolving financial sector through ServiceNow’s digital workflow, data, and AI platform.

We are seeking a Banking Industry Go-to-Market Leader for India to drive our FSI GTM strategy and execution across the Indian market. This senior role assumes leadership of ServiceNow’s Banking GTM for India, while collaborating across Asia Pacific & Japan to develop regionally aligned strategies and execution frameworks.

You are an expert in India’s Banking and Financial Services ecosystem—with deep understanding across Retail Banking, SME/Commercial Banking, Corporate/Wholesale Banking, Payments, NBFCs, Digital Lending, and Financial Market Infrastructure. You understand India’s technology architecture across application, workflow, data fabric, and integration layers.

You have strong knowledge of core banking processes, digital channel ecosystems, lending platforms, risk & compliance systems, and India’s unique regulatory environment (RBI frameworks, SEBI, IRDAI, NPCI). You bring a compelling technical and architectural vision of how ServiceNow can transform India’s financial ecosystem and enable operational excellence, AI-enabled workflows, resilience, and compliance.

You will collaborate with customers, partners, and internal product and engineering stakeholders to shape solution architectures and strategic programs. You will guide pre-sales teams to deliver industry-aligned solutions, shape solution roadmaps, and accelerate the adoption of ServiceNow’s workflow, data, AI, and integration capabilities across India’s FSI landscape.

You will also build and lead a high-performing team of FSI domain specialists who will drive meaningful growth across India’s banking sector.

What you get to do in this role

Field & Partner Enablement

  • Enable internal pre-sales teams, SI partners, and ISV partners on Banking and broader FSI use cases relevant to India’s ecosystem.
  • Establish a Banking Industry Community of advocates aligned to ServiceNow’s value proposition, including operational resilience, workflow automation, AI governance, customer service modernization, risk & compliance transformation, and digital operations.

Customer Engagement

  • Partner with Indian banks, NBFCs, fintechs, and payment institutions to understand their transformation priorities (digital lending, core modernization, operational resilience, regulatory compliance, risk modernization, AI adoption).
  • Co-create value-based solutions leveraging deep process knowledge across India-specific banking workflows: onboarding, KYC/AML, lending, collections, payments, customer lifecycle management, risk, and operations.
  • Shape new use cases aligned to India’s regulatory and market dynamics (e.g., RBI compliance automation, data lineage & governance, AI controls, TPRM, payments resilience, digital lending operations).

Market-Facing Leadership

  • Represent ServiceNow India at industry forums (e.g., RBI events, NASSCOM, IBA, FICCI, fintech summits).
  • Build and grow executive relationships with CxOs, CIOs, COOs, CROs, and Heads of Digital/Operations/Technology at India’s top financial institutions.
  • Present to large customer audiences and influence industry stakeholders.

Team Building

  • Build and lead a team of high-performing FSI domain specialists for India.
  • Drive strong collaboration between sales, customers, partners, and global FSI stakeholders.
  • Develop repeatable GTM motions and playbooks for India.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
  • 12+ years of relevant experience OR advanced degree with 10+ years, including at least 7 years in technical, advisory, or sales roles serving the Banking or Financial Services industry in India.
  • Strong knowledge of India’s Banking ecosystem across PSU, private banks, NBFCs, digital banks, payment institutions, and fintechs.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing GTM or domain specialist teams.
  • Strong experience working with ServiceNow customers, including understanding of ServiceNow architecture, workflow design, data fabric, AI integration, and platform extensibility.
  • Proven ability to work closely with sales teams as a senior industry expert and contribute to account strategy and deal progression.
  • Ability to provide thought leadership and collaborate with internal ServiceNow product teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence multiple levels within customer organizations (LOB leaders, CIOs, COOs, CROs, CEOs, enterprise architects).
  • Ability to travel across India and APJ as required (up to 50%).
  • Strong executive presence and a track record of building long-term customer relationships.
