ServiceNow HRSD Product Owner (contract)

KPMG US is seeking an experienced ServiceNow HRSD Product Owner to lead the functional design and implementation of their new HR service management solution. The role involves defining the product vision, managing the product backlog, and ensuring the solution meets the needs of the HR organization and employees.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and ROI
• Align HRSD capabilities with business strategy and objectives
• Develop detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
• Ensure the backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all
• Work closely with HR leaders, process owners, and end-users to gather requirements and translate these into actionable user stories with acceptance criteria
• Ensure the solution is tested and validated against business requirements
• Develop and execute a plan for user acceptance testing (UAT)

Skills

• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform
• Proven experience with at least two full-cycle implementations of ServiceNow HRSD, including case and knowledge management, and employee service center
• High level understanding and practical experience in designing and implementing complex employee workflows
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and experience acting as a ServiceNow Business Analyst, Business Process Consultant, or Product Owner in a Scrum or similar framework
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
• Experience with Life Cycle Events preferred
• Certified System Administrator (CSA) - preferred
• Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - HRSD - highly preferred
