As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions on the ServiceNow platform to enhance IT service management and operational workflows. Collaborating closely with stake holders, you will translate business requirements into innovative technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Your expertise will drive efficiency and innovation in the organization's use of ServiceNow. While the intent may be a long-term tenure, this position is subject to annual budget restrictions. The initial contract is through the end of this fiscal year and is anticipated to be renewed July 1st.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement ServiceNow solutions including customizations and integrations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather analyze and refine requirements
- Customize and configure ServiceNow applications modules and workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the ServiceNow platform
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including system designs and user guides
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical growth
- Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and industry best practices
- Ensure compliance with coding standards security policies and best practices
- Conduct code reviews and actively participate in design discussions
- Perform Service Mapping Discovery and Event Management configurations to improve IT operations
