Sr. ServiceNow Developer - Hybrid

Job Description: As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will design, implement, and optimize solutions on the ServiceNow platform to enhance IT service management and operational workflows. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Your expertise will drive efficiency and innovation in the organization’s use of ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including customizations and integrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements.
• Customize and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the ServiceNow platform.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs and user guides.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team technical growth.
• Stay updated on ServiceNow features and industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and participate in design discussions.
• Perform Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management configurations to improve IT operations.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow APIs, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong understanding of ITSM and ITOM processes, including workflows and automation.
• Proven experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM (PSDS), and HAM.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for project delivery.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, Implementation Specialist) highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $70.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
