Introduction

Join us as a ServiceNow Competency Director, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic vision, execution, and expansion of IBM Consulting's ServiceNow initiatives across the Americas. This position acts as the key liaison between IBM and ServiceNow, ensuring alignment, operational integrity, and tangible business results for both organizations and our clientele.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership & Partnership Execution: Craft and implement the strategy for IBM's ServiceNow alliance, focusing on joint business development, market positioning, solution innovation, and alignment in go-to-market efforts.
  • Scale the ServiceNow Practice: Expand the ServiceNow competency across the Americas, enhancing IBM Consulting's capabilities to fulfill ServiceNow partnership criteria in Customer Success, Competency, and Capability.
  • Enhance Partnerships: Drive collaborative efforts and operational performance with internal and external partners to maximize the effectiveness of our strategic alliance.

Relationship & Ecosystem Management:

  • Work closely with ServiceNow leadership to bolster our partnership and pinpoint opportunities for collaborative innovation and solution creation.
  • Maintain a structured partnership framework and ensure alignment with ServiceNow partnership standards.
  • Lead engagement efforts with the ServiceNow ecosystem partners, including implementation and build partners, to amplify joint capabilities and market influence.

Market Presence & Mindshare:

  • Oversee marketing initiatives, content production, and thought leadership activities to enhance IBM's presence in the ServiceNow ecosystem.
  • Boost market visibility by securing client endorsements, industry recognition, and analyst accolades.
  • Collaborate with delivery leaders to showcase client success stories and achieve excellence in Customer Success metrics (CSAT, references) and Capability metrics (deployments).

Go-to-Market & Sales Enablement:

  • Partner with sales and alliance teams to formulate and implement effective go-to-market strategies, including joint marketing initiatives and client outreach programs.
  • Equip field sales teams with insights about the partnership and its unique attributes to facilitate informed client decisions.
