ServiceNow Product Owner (Contract)

Location: Manchester (Hybrid – 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: £570 per day | Inside IR35

Overview

A large UK-based financial services organisation is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Product Owner to lead the product strategy and delivery across CMDB, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Software Asset Management (SAM).

This is a contract role within a complex, regulated enterprise environment, working closely with both technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and develop the ServiceNow product strategy for CMDB, HAM, and SAM.
• Define and maintain the product roadmap in line with ServiceNow best practice and enterprise objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver enhancements to asset and configuration management processes.
• Act as the subject matter expert for ServiceNow capabilities in this domain, ensuring strong governance and compliance.
• Assess and integrate complementary tools within the wider IT asset and configuration management ecosystem.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Product Owner within the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of CMDB, HAM, and SAM.
• Deep understanding of asset and configuration management principles.
• Experience working within financial services or other highly regulated environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
