Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Platform Administrator to support the development, administration, configuration, and ongoing optimization of a ServiceNow platform within a hybrid enterprise environment. This role is hands-on and ideal for a ServiceNow professional who enjoys both operational support and platform enhancement, while partnering closely with business and IT stakeholders.
You will play a key role in maintaining core ITSM processes, improving workflows, and driving continuous improvement through new ServiceNow capabilities and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Platform Administration & Development
- Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform across multiple modules
- Support and enhance ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Discovery, Asset Management, Service Catalog, Knowledge, Service Portal, and Performance Analytics
- Perform hands-on development, configuration, testing, and deployment activities
Design, Implementation & Optimization
- Gather and analyze requirements from business and technical stakeholders
- Design and implement workflows, forms, integrations, reports, and dashboards
- Support platform upgrades, new feature adoption, and ongoing enhancements
- Ensure platform stability, performance, and data integrity
Collaboration & Documentation
- Partner with users and technical teams to improve processes and user experience
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, process documentation, and knowledge articles
- Provide guidance and support to end users as needed
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with new ServiceNow features, releases, and best practices
- Proactively recommend improvements to platform capabilities and service delivery
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience administering and developing within ServiceNow
- Strong experience across core ITSM modules
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow workflows, scripting, reporting, and dashboards
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise tools and platforms
- Familiarity with MS 365 services and .NET environments
- Experience supporting large or complex enterprise ServiceNow implementations
