Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow ITAM Developer with strong hands-on experience in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and configure ServiceNow ITAM solutions, integrate multiple data sources, and support enterprise asset management initiatives within a BFSI environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow ITAM modules (HAM & SAM).
• Implement and customize asset life cycle workflows for hardware and software assets.
• Configure SAM features including license management, reclamation, and compliance reporting.
• Integrate ITAM with CMDB, ITSM, Discovery, and third-party data sources.
• Develop business rules, workflows/flows, UI policies, and scripts as needed.
• Ensure accurate asset data ingestion and normalization from multiple sources.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ITAM-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with ITSM, CMDB, and Security teams for end-to-end asset governance.
• Prepare documentation, solution design artifacts, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Support production issues and continuous improvement initiatives.

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years of ServiceNow development/configuration experience
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM modules - HAM & SAM
• Experience implementing ServiceNow SAM features
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform configuration & customization
• Integration experience with CMDB, ITSM, Discovery, and external data sources
• Experience in ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes)
• Understanding of asset lifecycle management and compliance reporting

Desirable Skills

• Experience with SAM Pro / HAM Pro
• BFSI domain exposure
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-ITAM, CIS-SAM)
• Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP, MID Server)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
