Role: ServiceNow Developer / Technical Lead

Job/Skill requirements ➡︎ Experienced ServiceNow Developer / Technical Lead to design and build a custom application onboarding and self-service platform in ServiceNow. This person is expected to lead architecture and do hands-on development, integrate ServiceNow with HashiCorp Vault using external APIs, and mentor junior ServiceNow developers.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop custom ServiceNow applications using ITSM, App Engine, Service Catalog, and Flow Designer

Build secure self-service onboarding workflows with approval processes (Security, DBA, Platform teams)

Integrate ServiceNow with HashiCorp Vault and other 3rd-party systems using IntegrationHub / REST APIs

Ensure strong security, RBAC, auditability, and compliance (no secrets stored in ServiceNow)

Act as technical lead: review designs, guide less-experienced ServiceNow developers, and set best practices

Required Skills

8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development

Strong experience with custom scoped apps, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, scripting

Experience with REST APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Servers

Good understanding of security, approvals, and automation

Ability to mentor and lead technically

Nice to Have

HashiCorp Vault experience

ServiceNow certifications

CMDB or platform automation experience
