Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, design, and execute test cases for ServiceNow (ITSM, ITOM) modules which will include enhancements, configurations, and integrations
  • Develop comprehensive and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test suites.
  • Support and contribute to automated testing where applicable, including regression and repeatable test scenarios
  • Validate ServiceNow workflows, catalog items, forms, scripts, and integrations against documented requirements
  • Perform thorough regression, integration, end-to-end, and functional testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, working closely with development teams
  • Utilize automated testing tools to design, create, enhance, and execute automated test scripts.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure requirements are testable and clearly understood
  • Ensure testing aligns with enterprise quality standards and release management processes
  • Create and support testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and execution results

Qualifications:Education:

Bachelor's degree (BE) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience -

  • Overall 8+ years of experience working as Test Analyst
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a ServiceNow QA Analyst, with a strong focus on manual testing and good exposure to automated testing
  • Hands-on experience testing ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM configurations, workflows, and integrations
  • Experience working with multiple ServiceNow modules, particularly those listed above - ITSM, ITOM.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect management
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Experience working with various SDLC methodologies (Agile, DevOps, Waterfall).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify edge cases and potential risks
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document findings
  • Nice to have - ITIL certified, ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) Certification
