POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our team on a transformative enterprise project. In this role you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of a custom ServiceNow application, consolidating and replacing functionality from multiple legacy tools. 

This is an opportunity to work on a modern, scalable platform using low-code/no-code capabilities alongside traditional development approaches—delivering impactful solutions for business process automation, system integration, and data transformation. 

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, can work across various technologies, and is passionate about enabling rapid digital transformation through scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly solutions.

Responsibilities

You’ll work at the intersection of art and architecture — crafting ServiceNow applications that are both useful and beautiful. Your work will include:

• Building bespoke ServiceNow scoped applications that embody the Sprezzatura standard — clean, performant, and human-centered.
• Designing flows and automations that make complexity look simple using Flow Designer, Decision Tables, and Integration Hub Spokes.
• Extending the platform with well-structured components, reusable Script Includes, and App Engine frameworks.
• Shaping reusable frameworks, not just features — so teams can build faster and smarter tomorrow.
• Partneringwith stakeholders and business analysts to refine requirements and translate them intoclear and actionabletechnical solutions. 
• Leading and contributing to data migration strategies and execution, bringing legacy systems seamlessly into ServiceNow.
• Contributing to the Sprezzatura Pattern Library— our evolving canon of ServiceNow best practices, naming conventions, and design heuristics.

Required Qualifications

• Certifications (Required):
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Applied Developer (CAD)
• Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years developing and deploying applications on the ServiceNow platform.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow data design principles.
• Low-Code / No-Code Expertise:
• Flow Designer
• Decision Tables
• IntegrationHubSpokes
• Process Automation Designer (PAD)
• Playbooks
• App Engine Studio (AES)
• UI Builder
• Must be proficient with both UI Builder and Workspace Builder.
• Collaboration & Delivery:
• Works effectively in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Eligibility: Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (required for federal contracts).

Preferred Qualifications

• CIS-App Engine, CIS-ITSM, or other advanced ServiceNow certifications.
• Experience contributing to internal design systems or pattern libraries.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow governance, DevOps, and deployment pipelines.

• 30-minute conversation with the recruiter and hiring manager.
• Take-home exercise to complete and submit before the technical interview.
• 90-minute technical interviewwith a member of our development team covering:
• Culture & values discussion
• Architecture & problem-solving (review of your take-home exercise)
• Pair programming session

WORKING CONDITIONS

Standard Business hours are Monday through Friday (list any particular schedule). Occasional extended or weekend hours may be required based on operational needs.
