About the Role:

As a dynamic member of our Application Development & Maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the service quality and operational efficiency through effective Information Technology solutions. Our team specializes in developing, configuring, and maintaining software systems, ensuring they meet both internal and external business needs.

We are looking for a talented Business Analyst with in-depth experience in ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ServiceNow Discovery, and ServiceNow Service Mapping. This is an exciting opportunity to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving the implementation of innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering & Analysis:Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping projects.Create clear process flows, data models, and wireframes to document requirements.Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications and user stories within the ServiceNow Agile framework.Work alongside developers to ensure clarity and completeness of requirements.Testing, Documentation, and Training:Develop and execute comprehensive test cases; manage user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders to gain necessary sign-off.Maintain clear and concise documentation, including workflows, data dictionaries, and training materials.Utilize business acumen to identify process improvements and enhance system usability.Conduct training sessions for stakeholders as needed.ServiceNow Expertise:Optimize CMDB data models to ensure accuracy and compliance with enterprise standards.Support the lifecycle management of configuration items (CIs) and maintain accurate CI relationships.Collaborate closely with ServiceNow developers and architects to implement effective solutions.Conduct surveys and gap analyses to recommend improvements to existing ServiceNow processes.Qualifications:

4-8 years of experience, preferably as a Business Analyst in ITSM environments.Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with ServiceNow CSDM, CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS for CMDB/Discovery) are highly desirable.ITIL v3/V4 Foundation certification.Experience with Agile methodology for systems implementation.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficiency in tools like Lucidchart, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaborative platforms like Google Drive.Expectations:

Utilize comprehensive knowledge and understanding of IT concepts and principles to perform diverse tasks.Contribute to the development of relevant policies and procedures.Engage in complex projects of significant scope.Develop innovative solutions that align with organizational objectives.Complete work independently, receiving guidance on new projects.May mentor less experienced colleagues.Compensation: Anticipated salary range is $93,900 - $135,600. This position is not bonus eligible.
