ServiceNow Saas Platform Developer - Remote (6062)

itD is seeking a ServiceNow SaaS Platform Developer to lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable ServiceNow applications that transform security awareness, remediation, and reporting—driving measurable improvements in visibility, response time, and platform performance. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in ServiceNow platform development and JavaScript, with a track record of delivering end-to-end applications and robust API integrations.

Location: Remote (US-friendly time zones required)

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end development of scoped ServiceNow applications, from design through deployment and testing.
• Design and implement secure system architectures and data models to support scalable application delivery.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites to ensure quality, reliability, and regression coverage.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST-based APIs and data transformation pipelines.
• Build custom user interfaces where out-of-the-box capabilities fall short, ensuring performant and intuitive UX.
• Analyze, debug, and optimize ServiceNow performance while enforcing platform security standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical delivery with product and reporting goals.

Internal Responsibilities:

• Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
• Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
• Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
• Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
• Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
• Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript and ServiceNow development.
• Demonstrated experience delivering complete, production-grade applications within ServiceNow.
• Significant experience building complex user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, , or similar).
• Proven experience implementing REST-based APIs to and from ServiceNow applications.
• Extensive scripting experience with Glide, AJAX, and Jelly Script.
• Experience creating and securing scoped applications within ServiceNow, including data isolation.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with relational database systems.
• Test automation experience.
• Systems architecture design experience.
• Native English proficiency and availability in a US-friendly time zone.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with recent versions of ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of structured databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Experience with AngularJS, Angular, and
• Strong proficiency using AI tools to accelerate ServiceNow development workflows.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including Git for version control and Jenkins for CI/CD.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required.
