Job Description
ECS is seeking a ServiceNow Architect to work remotely. Please Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding.
The ServiceNow Architect will design highly complex, mission-critical scoped and global applications for the Department of Homeland Security. As an Architect, you will lead development team architects and developers in delivering services in compliance with customer contracts and industry best practices. You will support development teams working alongside of architects, developers, scrum masters, business analysts and testers focused on the delivery of a critical case management application. As the ideal candidate, you will be able to think critically in solving urgent mission issues, supporting end to end platform development from back-end configuration to Self-Service Portals.
Responsibilities: Serve as a primary technical point of contact for projects. Define, at an architectural and design level of detail, technical solutions aligned with our client's business problems and ServiceNow Implementation Best Practices. Support development, integration, and engineering of respective ServiceNow Solutions. Ensure business processes and stories align with the technical solution, including story pointing for customer projects. Perform discovery work sessions to determine the solution requirements. Assist in gathering and/or reviewing clients process requirements and assisting on how they map to ServiceNow. Perform design work sessions and produce deliverables, including mock-ups, flow diagrams, high-level architecture and design documents etc. Assist customers with proof-of-concept activities. Identify new opportunities to provide additional value to clients and improve business performance. Maintain expert knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and products, and respective certifications. Research technology partner or other vendor solutions in context of client requirements for integration. Design, create and configure Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. Design, create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each. Maintain high level of client satisfaction. Salary Range: $175,000 - $200,000

Required Skills
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance or higher. Functional and technical knowledge of ServiceNow. Bachelor's Degree + 10 years of applicable experience. 8+ years of experience in software development, with 5+ years focused on the ServiceNow platform, including custom app development and system integrations, and 3+ years as a ServiceNow Solution Architect. 2+ year's experience building custom applications in ServiceNow. Minimum of 1 ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification, with ability to earn additional if required within 6 months of start of position Extensive understanding and experience designing, architecting, engineering/implementing, and maintaining complex ServiceNow environments and scoped applications Functional knowledge and implementation experience with ITSM, CSDM, HAM/SAM Functional knowledge and implementation experience of a minimum of 2 of the following additional ServiceNow modules (ITOM, SPM, APM, PSDS) Understanding of Enterprise Solutions including Customer Service, Human Resources, Project Management, etc. Knowledge of Integrations such as LDAP, AD, SSO, Email Infrastructure, Web Services (e.g. SOAP, REST) Experience using Workflow Editor to configure workflows Strong customer relations and communication skills. Ability to prepare for, facilitate and lead customer work sessions. Possesses ability to create process flow diagrams and high-level architecture and documentation. Experience in Agile methodology.
Desired Skills
DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) clearance. Experience supporting federal cybersecurity programs (e.g. CISA, DHS, etc.). Background in cybersecurity, compliance automation, or secure workflow design. Experience with following ServiceNow Modules: SecOps Security Incident Response (SIR), SecOps Vulnerability Response, and HRSD.
