Job Description: We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong hands-on expertise in the Vulnerability Response (VR) module.
The ideal candidate will have 5 9 years of ServiceNow platform development experience, including at least 2 years focused specifically on implementing and managing Vulnerability Response solutions.
This role will be responsible for configuring, customizing, integrating, and automating the ServiceNow VR lifecycle to support vulnerability identification, prioritization, remediation, and reporting.
Responsibilities: Configure and customize the ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) module. Manage vulnerability identification, prioritization, remediation, and reporting processes. Design and develop workflows, business rules, client scripts, and integrations supporting the VR lifecycle. Integrate VR with external vulnerability scanners and CMDB to automate vulnerability data import and correlation. Configure MID Servers, data sources, and API connections for vulnerability data ingestion. Develop automation for vulnerability assignment, remediation tracking, and exception management. Create custom dashboards, reports, and Performance Analytics indicators to track vulnerability KPIs and trends. Support and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs. Work closely with ITSM, CMDB, and Discovery processes to ensure accurate configuration item mapping
Experience: 5 9 years of hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform. Minimum 2+ years of experience implementing and managing the Vulnerability Response (VR) module.
Strong understanding of: ServiceNow CMDB Discovery ITSM processes Experience integrating with vulnerability scanners such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Prisma Cloud, etc.
Strong working knowledge of: JavaScript Glide API Flow Designer REST/SOAP integrations Experience configuring MID Servers and data sources. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator ( CSA) certification required.
