Senior ServiceNow Engineer - Integrated Risk Management (IRM) Expert

This is a senior-level opportunity for a ServiceNow Risk Management specialist who excels at delivering high-quality solutions while staying informed about ServiceNow's product roadmap, emerging IRM capabilities, and industry best practices. You will engage actively with ServiceNow product teams and help Guardian evaluate how new features can enhance our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) capabilities.
In this role, you will closely collaborate with business stakeholders, ServiceNow platform engineers, enterprise architects, data teams, and risk domain leaders to shape Guardian's risk technology ecosystem.
As part of a senior development group, reporting to the Head of Enterprise Risk Technology, you will be responsible for delivering, maintaining, and advancing Guardian's risk management applications on ServiceNow, focusing on configuration standards, system performance, and automation. You will also mentor junior engineers and work collaboratively with other Guardian technology teams to ensure alignment with architecture and data standards.
Main Responsibilities:
Operational Management
Lead daily technical support for IRM, BCM, and TPRM applications.Optimize existing configurations including forms, lists, workspace views, notifications, and ACLs.Monitor schedules, integrations, and data quality checks related to risk management.Maintain dashboards and reporting data sources for business stakeholders.Provide Level 2 support for incidents regarding IRM, BCM, and TPRM applications.Enhancements and Development
Collaborate with product owners to transform requirements into high-quality technical designs.Implement enhancements for IRM, BCM, and TPRM, including approval logic and user interface improvements.Build and maintain Flow Designer elements, business rules, and configurations.Enhance integrations with CMDB, Archer, vendor systems, and external providers.Contribute to configuration governance for the IRM domain and support system upgrades.Mentor junior team members and assist their growth in ServiceNow and risk domain knowledge.Strategic Product Engagement
Maintain up-to-date awareness of ServiceNow product innovations and enhancements.Participate in workshops, advisory councils, and feedback sessions with ServiceNow.Build strong relationships with ServiceNow product teams to advocate for Guardian's needs.Evaluate new capabilities such as AI features and recommend adoption strategies.Provide leadership on how ServiceNow IRM can enhance Guardian's risk management processes.Contribute to the long-term technology strategy for ERM, BCM, and TPRM solutions.Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in configuring and integrating enterprise SaaS platforms.5+ years in ServiceNow development or advanced administration.Deep understanding of ServiceNow capabilities including tables, UI policies, and JavaScript.Experience with non-ITSM modules such as IRM, BCM, or TPRM.Strong ability to translate platform features into business benefits.Proven experience in report and dashboard creation for stakeholders.Exceptional communication and collaboration capabilities.Solid knowledge of data governance, performance tuning, and system security.Experience in leading troubleshooting and platform improvement initiatives.Commitment to automation and continuous improvement.Preferred Skills:
ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-IRM, CIS-BCM, CIS-TPRM, etc.).Familiarity with CI/CD practices and update set management.Knowledge of risk, compliance, and continuity methodologies.Prior participation in ServiceNow advisory boards or beta programs.Integration experience utilizing REST or SOAP APIs.Experience with other GRC or risk platforms such as Archer or RSA.Location:
Remote - Anywhere in the USA, with occasional travel to our Guardian offices in New York, NY.Salary Range:
$99,150.00 - $162,885.00. This range reflects good faith estimate of base pay and may vary based on qualifications.
