A ServiceNow Administrator is responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. This includes managing user access, workflows, and system performance, as well as troubleshooting issues and ensuring the platform's overall health and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User Management: Creating and managing user accounts, roles, and permissions.
  • Workflow Administration: Designing, developing, and maintaining workflows within the ServiceNow platform.
  • System Configuration: Configuring and customizing the platform to meet business needs, including creating applications and add-ons.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitoring system performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Troubleshooting: Investigating and resolving issues with the ServiceNow platform.
  • System Upgrades and Maintenance: Managing system upgrades and applying patches to ensure the platform is up-to-date and secure.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensuring the platform is secure and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Documentation and Training: Creating and maintaining documentation and providing training on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Integration Management: Managing integrations with other systems.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generating reports and performing data analysis to support business decision-making.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Technical Skills: Experience with ServiceNow administration, including workflow design, scripting (JavaScript, HTML, CSS), and database management.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and develop solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Framework: Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Modules: Experience with various ServiceNow modules like ITSM, ITOM, or HRSD.
  • Experience with AI: Agentic AI such as Moveworks or other AI tools. – MUST HAVE

Qualifications

  • 5+ Years as ServiceNow Administrator.
  • Experience with Agentic AI such as Moveworks or other AI tools - MUST NEEDED
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications like ServiceNow Certified Professional System Administrator (CSA) or higher, Certified Implementation Specialist may be considered.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Less than 5% afterhours/weekend work required (maintenance/emergencies), time compensated

Travel:

  • Less than 10%
