Our client is currently seeking a qualified ServiceNow Developer to join their team in Charlotte, NC and work on customizing their needs around Agent Workspace, Catalog, and Portals in the industry. The ideal candidate for the role can also be optioned to work remotely.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions primarily within ITSM and ITOM (Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, Service Mapping, etc.)
- Customize and configure ServiceNow applications and modules to meet business and customer requirements for the Agent/Voice and Portal/Catalog
- Lead or contribute to platform upgrades, patching, and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to services
- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems (e.g., monitoring tools, CMDB data sources) using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and other protocols
- Collaborate closely with product owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions
- Maintain strong documentation and participate in code reviews and platform governance practices
- Proactively identify platform optimization and automation opportunities within ITSM/ITOM processes
- Provide advanced troubleshooting, support, and guidance on best practices for ServiceNow development and architecture
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, with a clear record of accomplishment in delivering robust solutions
- Expertise in ServiceNow ITSM modules: Agent Voice and Portal Catalog
- Strong experience with Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, Service Mapping, and Orchestration
- Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and ServiceNow scripting (Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes,
- Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and MID Server architecture
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) are a plus
- Strong understanding of ITIL best practices
- Experience working in large enterprise environments
Wage Range: The rate for this position is between $45.00 - $65.00 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
