What IT Infrastructure & System Administration contributes to Cardinal Health

The IT Infrastructure & System Administration team is responsible for developing and implementing standardized IT policies and managing enterprise infrastructure. This involves assessing system health, optimizing system resources, and providing ongoing support for our databases. We also oversee and manage the organization's server and storage environments.

We are on the lookout for a talented Business Analyst specializing in ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture Workspace and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). In this impactful role, you will facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure precise configuration data and empower enterprise architecture insights, which are essential for outstanding IT service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Develop and maintain project plans, track progress, and relay updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure deliverables align with IT policies and best practices.

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Engage with stakeholders to effectively gather and analyze business requirements for EA Workspace and CMDB.
  • Create comprehensive process flows, data models, and wireframes to document requirements.
  • Translate business needs into accurate functional specifications and user stories.

ServiceNow Expertise

  • Configure and optimize CMDB data models to ensure data integrity and adherence to enterprise architecture standards.
  • Support CI lifecycle management and maintain accurate CI relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with ServiceNow developers and architects for solution implementation.
  • Conduct surveys, perform gap analysis, and recommend enhancements to current ServiceNow processes.

Testing, Documentation, and Training

  • Create and execute test cases; manage user acceptance testing and secure user sign-off.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation including workflows, data dictionaries, and training materials.
  • Utilize business knowledge to drive process improvements and enhance system usability.
  • Provide training and guidance to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within ITSM environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow EA Workspace (Application Portfolio Management), CSDM, and CMDB modules.
  • Current ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS for CMDB/APM) are highly preferred.
  • ITIL v3/V4 Foundation certification.
  • Experience with implementation utilizing Agile methodology.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in tools such as Lucid charts, MS Word, MS Excel, and collaborative platforms like Google Drive.

Anticipated salary range: $80,900 - $127,050
