Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Sr. ServiceNOW (DPR) Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative ServiceNOW solutions within a complex IT environment. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and customization of ServiceNOW platform modules, including Discovery, Incident Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient system solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Design and implement integrations between ServiceNOW and other enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Pegasystems, and various IT infrastructure tools using RESTful APIs and web services.
- Develop automation workflows utilizing ServiceNOW Flow Designer, scripting (JavaScript, PowerShell), and other scripting languages to streamline business processes.
- Ensure system security by implementing best practices for cloud security, system hardening, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence integration.
- Conduct system testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to optimize platform stability and responsiveness.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, configuration changes, and technical procedures following SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a ServiceNOW Developer with a strong understanding of Service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles.
- Expertise in solution architecture design for enterprise service management platforms.
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes, data integration techniques, and database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure components including operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware/ESXi), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, DNS/DHCP configurations.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, Java; familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services like SOAP.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies utilizing DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git for CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of system design principles including microservices architecture and container orchestration with Kubernetes or Docker.
- Familiarity with security protocols including cloud security best practices, GPO management, system hardening techniques, vulnerability assessment tools, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Knowledge of other enterprise systems such as Salesforce CRM or Pegasystems BPM is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues across multiple platforms; effective communication skills for collaboration across teams.
