ServiceNow CMDB Specialist(Public Trust and Only W2)

This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate configuration data across infrastructure systems. You'll work closely with infrastructure operations and the ServiceNow tool owner to optimize CMDB structure, improve Discovery accuracy, and align with CSDM standards. This project directly impacts IT visibility, service mapping, and operational stability.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Implementing and maintaining ServiceNow CMDB architecture.
• Configuring Discovery schedules, probes, sensors, and mid-servers.
• Managing CI classes and relationships aligned to CSDM.
• Automating cleanup of stale CMDB data.
• Supporting Service Mapping and integrations.
• Building CMDB health dashboards and performance reports.
• Collaborating with IT teams and vendors.

What They're Looking For:

• 3–5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow CMDB experience.
• Strong ServiceNow Discovery expertise.
• Experience with CSDM alignment and CI relationship mapping.
• Knowledge of network fundamentals (IP, ports, firewalls, protocols).
• Windows/Linux administration knowledge (DNS, DHCP, AD).
• Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python).
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Required.
• CIS – Data Foundations preferred
