Planview SPM Developer – REST API | Jira, SAP, ServiceNow

Our client is seeking a Planview SPM Developer/Integration Specialist to support configuration, integration, automation, and reporting across enterprise Planview environments. This role requires strong hands‑on experience with Planview SPM and REST API integrations with systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, SAP, and Workday.

Contract Duration: 6 months | W2

Work Location: Onsite in Dallas, TX or Chicago, IL

Remote Option: Exceptional candidates may be considered for fully remote work within the U.S.

Requirements:

• Support data migration, cleansing, and transformation.
• Develop automation scripts using JavaScript or Python.
• Build custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Troubleshoot Planview configuration and performance issues.
• Maintain documentation for integrations and configurations.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements.
• Configure and enhance Planview SPM modules (Portfolios, Roadmaps, Outcomes, OKRs)
• Design and implement REST API integrations with Jira, ServiceNow, SAP, Workday.

Qualifications/Must-Haves:

• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with JavaScript or Python for automation.
• 7+ years Planview Project & Portfolio Management experience.
• 3+ years hands‑on with Planview SPM or Planview Portfolios.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, JSON, and integration frameworks.
• Strong experience integrating Planview with Jira, ServiceNow, SAP, Workday.
• Strong understanding of resource capacity, demand management, and strategic planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Planview Certified Developer or Architect.
• Experience in large enterprise environments.
