Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Admin Lead to manage and support the ServiceNow platform, ensure platform stability, lead a team of administrators, and drive governance, upgrades, and continuous improvements aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration & Governance
Lead administration of ServiceNow platform (ITSM and other modules).
Manage instance upgrades, patching, cloning, and release management.
Ensure system health, performance monitoring, and instance optimization.
Maintain governance, compliance, and platform standards.
Technical Expertise
Strong hands-on experience in: User & role management
ACLs, UI policies, business rules
Client scripts & basic scripting (JavaScript)
Service Catalog, Workflows / Flow Designer
CMDB administration & Discovery (preferred)
Experience managing integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
Oversee MID server management.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor ServiceNow administrators.
Act as L2/L3 escalation point for platform-related issues.
Coordinate with developers, architects, and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management
Work closely with business teams for requirement gathering.
Participate in CAB meetings and change management processes.
Provide platform roadmap inputs and improvement suggestions.
Mandatory Skills
7+ years IT experience with 4+ years in ServiceNow administration.
Strong knowledge of ITSM module.
Experience in ServiceNow instance upgrades and patch management.
Hands-on experience with Service Portal administration.
Understanding of ITIL processes.
Excellent communication skills.
Good to Have
Experience in modules like HRSD, ITOM, SecOps, or GRC.
Exposure to ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification.
ITIL Foundation certification.
