- Job Description: Mobile Development Architect for 6 month C2H (USC)
We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on mobile Architect to lead the design and development of robust, high-quality cross-platform mobile applications. This role will be responsible for defining and maintaining the overall architecture of our mobile solutions. In addition to driving new application development, you will oversee ongoing support and enhancements for our legacy .NET MAUI application. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in mobile technologies, a strong commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop mobile applications for iOS and Android using cross-platform frameworks.
- Define and enforce best practices for performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure smooth delivery and rapid issue resolution.
- Write clean, maintainable code and implement automated testing to ensure application quality.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold high standards of quality and scalability.
- Integrate mobile applications with cloud services and backend systems.
- Oversee the ongoing support and enhancements for our legacy .NET MAUI application.
- Mentor and guide junior developers to foster technical growth and excellence within the team.
Required Skills
- 10+ years in mobile development, with at least 2+ years in a mobile architect position.
- Cross-Platform: Ionic & Capacitor with Angular, React Native
- iOS:Swift, SwiftUI, XCTest (or equivalent)
- Android:Java/Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Espresso (or equivalent)
- Cloud Integration:Firebase
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of .NET MAUI
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Performance profiling and optimization for iOS and Android
- Monitoring and crash reporting using tools like Crashlytics or equivalent
- Familiarity with AWS
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles to enhance user engagement
