Additional Detail ServiceNow Product Owner Anticipated Starting Salary Range: $145,000 - $167,000 Starting Salary Commensurate with Qualifications and Experience

The State Corporation Commission’s (“SCC” or “Commission”) Division of Enterprise Technology Services seeks a ServiceNow Product Owner interested in a rewarding public service career. The ServiceNow Product Owner will manage the team responsible for implementing the ServiceNow platform for the SCC, to include budget management, project prioritization, resource allocation, ticket backlog management, customer expectation management, vendor relationship management, and expanding platform usage. The candidate selected for this position will develop roadmaps, provide leadership transparency, collaborate with other teams, and align platform direction with business needs.

Essential functions of the ServiceNow Product Owner include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing the full lifecycle management of IT products within the ServiceNow application suite
• Leading the strategic planning of IT product lifecycles, guiding them from conception to implementation
• Leading as Product Owner, specifying requirements, ideating, and managing the technical development and launch of new ServiceNow products
• Collaborating closely with customers, understanding their business objectives, and leading technical discussions to align with their strategic objectives and priorities
• Ensuring ServiceNow Solution Design is aligned with the business needs while also designing sustainable solutions
• Providing expertise on the capabilities of the ServiceNow platform and the vendor’s product roadmap
• Working with the team to facilitate growth and to provide mentorship, supporting professional development and eventually managing direct reports, to include coaching, mentoring, training and evaluating staff
• Performing related work as required

This position offers a hybrid work schedule (generally 3 days in office, 2 days of telework each week) and professional development opportunities.
