Your role and responsibilities
As a ServiceNow Application Advisor, you will be central to the configuration and maintenance of our software product implementations. By leveraging your extensive business and technical expertise, specifically within ServiceNow modules, service management, and ITIL practices, you will help lead our team in developing a strategic ServiceNow plan focused on value versus effort. This will involve preparing cost-benefit analyses and contributing to solution designs through accurate effort estimations and costing.
Your core responsibilities include:
- Develop ServiceNow Strategy: Spearhead the creation of a ServiceNow strategy that aligns with business objectives while ensuring effective implementation based on value versus effort.
- Solution Design and Costing: Play a vital role in designing solutions through careful effort estimation and costing, creating cost-benefit models to support informed decision-making.
- Client Negotiation and Implementation: Customize solutions to meet budget guidelines, negotiate effectively with clients, and ensure timely implementation aligned with project objectives.
- Technical Configuration and Maintenance: Provide expert configuration and maintenance support for software product implementations, utilizing your knowledge of web technologies such as XML, HTML, and Web Services.
- Team Leadership: Guide your team in delivering top-notch solutions, ensuring that all efforts align with business goals and adhere to project schedules.
This position offers remote work flexibility from anywhere in the United States.
Required technical and professional expertise
- Deep Expertise in ServiceNow Modules: Hands-on experience with various ServiceNow modules, including configuration and supporting software product implementations.
- ITIL Process Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of service management and ITIL processes, applying this knowledge to create effective ServiceNow strategies.
- Technical Proficiency in Web Technologies: Expertise in web technologies, including XML, HTML, and Web Services, along with familiarity with LDAP, VPN, and SSL.
- Solution Design and Cost Estimation: Demonstrated ability to contribute to solution design through accurate effort estimation and costing, preparing cost-benefit models to guide decision-making.
- Strategic Leadership: Experience in leading teams to develop and implement strategic plans focused on delivering excellent solutions aligned with business objectives.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Advanced Web Technologies: Experience in advanced web technologies, including XML, HTML, and Web Services, as well as technical components like LDAP, VPN, and SSL to facilitate software product implementations.
- ITIL Process Expertise: Strong understanding of service management and ITIL processes to develop impactful ServiceNow strategies and ensure successful outcomes.
- Cost-Benefit Analysis: Skilled in preparing cost-benefit models to drive decision-making and actively contribute to solution design through effective effort estimation and costing.
