Senior Business Analyst (ServiceNow Support)

Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst specializing in ServiceNow support to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves analyzing, designing, and optimizing ServiceNow platform functionalities to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery. As a key player, you will collaborate across departments to implement innovative solutions, manage complex projects, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

Duties

• Lead comprehensive business analysis for ServiceNow modules, identifying opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and develop detailed documentation using tools like Visio.
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles utilizing Agile methodologies, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget while adhering to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices.
• Design and optimize database structures using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Looker for effective data storage, retrieval, and reporting.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations with Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to provide actionable insights for decision-makers.
• Support data integration efforts through ETL tools like Talend and scripting languages such as Python, R, Bash (Unix shell), VBA, ensuring data quality and consistency across platforms.
• Conduct thorough analysis using SQL queries and analytics techniques to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process enhancements within ServiceNow support workflows.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting ServiceNow platforms or similar enterprise service management tools.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC process combined with project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Demonstrated expertise in data analysis skills including SQL, R, Python, ETL processes, and database design principles.
• Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker for creating compelling reports and dashboards.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies to facilitate flexible project execution in fast-paced environments.
• Experience working with large datasets using Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server; ability to perform complex analysis using analysis skills and analytics techniques.

Pay: $68,062.48 - $89,924.70 per year
