Position Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and proactive ServiceNow Developer with deep expertise in Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and experience integrating monitoring and inventory systems such as Splunk, SolarWinds, and Cisco Meraki.
• The ideal candidate will also manage certificate inventory within ServiceNow and ensure seamless data flow and event correlation across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• CMDB Development & Maintenance
• Design, implement, and maintain CMDB models and CI classes.
• Ensure accurate CI population and relationships using Discovery and integrations.
• Implement reconciliation rules, identification rules, and normalization processes.

Certificate Inventory Management

• Develop and maintain a centralized certificate inventory within ServiceNow.
• Automate certificate discovery, expiration tracking, and renewal workflows.

Integrations

• Splunk Integration
• Configure and maintain integration for event ingestion and correlation.
• Enable actionable alerts and incident creation from Splunk events.
• SolarWinds Integration
• Integrate SolarWinds for real-time infrastructure monitoring and CMDB updates.
• Map SolarWinds data to ServiceNow CI classes and event tables.
• Cisco Meraki Integration
• Develop custom integrations to ingest Meraki network device data into CMDB.
• Enable event monitoring and alerting from Meraki systems.

Event Management

• Configure Event Management to correlate and prioritize events from multiple sources.
• Implement alert rules, thresholds, and remediation workflows.

Development & Scripting

• Write and maintain scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, etc.).
• Develop custom applications and modules as needed.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with infrastructure, network, and security teams.
• Document integration architecture, workflows, and support procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong understanding of CMDB architecture and ServiceNow Discovery.
• Experience with certificate lifecycle management in ServiceNow.
• Proven experience integrating Splunk, SolarWinds, and Cisco Meraki with ServiceNow.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, REST APIs, and ServiceNow scripting.
• Familiarity with ITOM modules (Discovery, Event Management, Orchestration).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Implementation Specialist.
• Experience with MID Server configuration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of network and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
