An experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with business objectives. The role will be responsible for defining platform strategy, ensuring best practices, driving technical governance, and enabling high-quality implementations across programs.
This is a strategic architecture role requiring strong technical depth, consultative mindset, and delivery ownership.
Responsibilities: Architecture & Solution Design
- Define end-to-end ServiceNow architecture aligned to enterprise IT strategy.
- Own solution blueprinting across multiple ServiceNow modules.
- Design scalable, secure, and performance-optimized platform solutions.
- Establish CMDB architecture, data governance, and integration patterns.
- Define instance strategy, environment management, and upgrade roadmap.
Technical Leadership
- Act as the technical authority for large transformation programs.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and design validations.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and governance standards.
- Guide development teams on complex implementations and integrations.
- Troubleshoot critical technical challenges and provide strategic resolution.
Platform Governance
- Define development standards and reusable frameworks.
- Drive release management, DevOps enablement, and CI/CD practices.
- Ensure compliance with security, performance, and audit requirements.
Stakeholder & Program Engagement
- Engage with enterprise architects, business leaders, and client stakeholders.
- Support estimation, solutioning, and technical proposals during pre-sales.
- Contribute to RFP responses and technical strategy presentations.
- Partner with program managers on risk mitigation and delivery excellence.
Capability Development
- Mentor Technical Leads and Senior Developers.
- Build internal ServiceNow capability and reusable accelerators.
- Drive innovation and adoption of new ServiceNow features.
Requirements: Primary Skills (Must Have)
- Strong ServiceNow platform architecture experience
- Deep expertise in ITSM and at least one of ITOM / CSM / HRSD
- CMDB design & Discovery architecture
- Integration architecture (REST, SOAP, MID Server, IntegrationHub)
- Advanced scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts)
- Performance tuning & instance management
- Security architecture & ACL design
- Upgrade planning & release governance
Secondary Skills (Good to Have)
- FSM / SPM / GRC / SecOps
- Service Portal / UI Builder
- Flow Designer & Automation
- DevOps & CI/CD pipelines
- Telecom domain experience
- Experience in multi-instance / global rollouts
Certifications (Required)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified Implementation Specialist (any module)
Preferred
- Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or pursuing
