We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing automated workflows within the ServiceNow ecosystem. The role requires strong expertise in platform customization, system integrations, and workflow automation to improve service management processes and operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated workflows and process orchestration using ServiceNow’s Application Engine to support enterprise service management operations.
- Configure and customize various ServiceNow platform components, including forms, policies, scripts, and user interface elements to meet business needs.
- Develop integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems using scripting and integration capabilities such as Integration Hub.
- Provide technical support and platform monitoring, ensuring system reliability and resolving user-reported issues in a timely manner.
- Enhance and optimize workflows aligned with ITIL best practices to improve incident, problem, change, and service request management processes.
- Ensure all platform developments follow security and compliance guidelines when implementing automation and workflow designs.
- Perform testing and validation of new enhancements in development and staging environments before production deployment.
- Maintain and improve the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensure accurate asset tracking within the ServiceNow platform.
- Support the configuration and optimization of key modules including Service Catalog, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Project Management.
- Adhere to established development standards and lifecycle processes when implementing platform improvements.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience working with ServiceNow platform development and workflow automation.
- Expertise in ServiceNow Application Engine and system integration frameworks.
- Experience implementing ITIL-based service management processes within ServiceNow.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and scripting for ServiceNow platform customization.
- Experience managing CMDB and asset management capabilities within ServiceNow.
