Job Title: ServiceNow Architect Location: Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune Job Type: Contract Job Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic ServiceNow Architect to join our team. With over 10 years of experience in ITSM (IT Service Management) and ServiceNow solutions, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow-based systems that drive efficiency, innovation, and high-quality service delivery. As a ServiceNow Architect, you will lead complex projects, guide development teams, and ensure that ServiceNow solutions align with business objectives and ITSM best practices. Mandatory Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of experience in ITSM (IT Service Management) with a strong focus on implementing and optimizing ServiceNow solutions.
  • Deep expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, customization, configuration, and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks, and the ability to design solutions based on ITSM best practices.
  • Proven experience leading the design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow-based solutions for large-scale organizations.
  • Ability to architect and deliver end-to-end ServiceNow implementations that drive business outcomes.

Additional Mandatory Experience (Experience in at least 3 of the Following Modules):

  • HAM (Hardware Asset Management): Strong experience in managing hardware asset lifecycles, from procurement to decommissioning, and integrating HAM into ITSM processes.
  • SAM (Software Asset Management): Expertise in designing and implementing software asset management processes, including software license tracking, compliance, and optimization within ServiceNow.
  • CMDB (Configuration Management Database): Extensive experience with CMDB architecture, configuration item (CI) management, and ensuring alignment between ITSM processes and CMDB best practices.
  • Discovery: Hands-on experience deploying and configuring ServiceNow Discovery to automate the discovery of IT assets, applications, and services within the organization.
  • Integrations: Expertise in integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems and platforms (e.g., ERP, monitoring tools, etc.) using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and other integration technologies.
  • Epro (Enterprise Procurement): Knowledge of integrating procurement processes with ServiceNow for the efficient management of IT assets and services across their lifecycle.
  • CSM (Customer Service Management): Experience implementing and optimizing ServiceNow's Customer Service Management (CSM) module, enhancing customer experience and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of complex ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and ITSM best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals, processes, and requirements, and translate them into scalable and efficient ServiceNow solutions.
  • Oversee the customization and configuration of ServiceNow modules, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and platforms.
  • Provide expert-level guidance and leadership to development teams throughout the implementation and deployment of ServiceNow solutions.
  • Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications, ensuring efficient data flow and process automation.
  • Ensure that ServiceNow solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry standards and compliance regulations.
  • Perform detailed assessments and provide recommendations for system improvements, upgrades, and performance optimization.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for automation, process improvements, and enhanced service delivery within ServiceNow.
  • Mentor and guide junior architects and developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Act as a technical leader and trusted advisor to senior management and other teams in the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) and ServiceNow platform architecture, including designing and delivering large-scale implementations.
  • Proven expertise in at least three of the following modules: HAM, SAM, CMDB, Discovery, Integrations, Epro, or CSM.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (or equivalent certifications) preferred.
  • Deep understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks.
  • Strong experience in ServiceNow platform architecture, including configuration, development, scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions), and integrations.
  • Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to manage and guide cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow performance analytics and reporting capabilities.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow security and access controls (role-based access, ACLs).
  • Experience with ServiceNow's UI/UX design, ensuring a seamless user experience across all interfaces.
