Hybrid – Onsite 3 Days per Week | Risk Transformation Program
This role is part of a major enterprise risk transformation initiative focused on modernizing and scaling the organization’s risk management capabilities on the ServiceNow platform. We are seeking a technically strong ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) expert who can play a key role in executing and enhancing the platform roadmap while supporting the evolution of enterprise risk technology.
The ideal candidate is both technically hands-on and analytically driven, with recent IRM implementation experience and the ability to translate strategic objectives into scalable technical solutions. This individual will collaborate extensively with enterprise architecture, platform engineering, data teams, and other IT organizations to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and successful delivery of risk transformation objectives.
This position operates within the Enterprise Risk Technology team and contributes directly to roadmap execution, platform maturity, and long-term architectural alignment. Onsite presence is required three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Risk Transformation and Roadmap Execution
- Support and advance the ServiceNow IRM roadmap as part of a broader enterprise risk transformation program.
- Partner with risk stakeholders, product owners, and IT teams to implement scalable risk management solutions aligned with strategic priorities.
- Evaluate new platform capabilities and identify opportunities to improve automation, usability, and risk intelligence.
- Contribute to the long-term evolution of IRM, BCM, and TPRM capabilities while maintaining alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Apply strong analytical thinking to assess current-state gaps and recommend technical and process improvements.
Platform Engineering and Solution Delivery
- Lead configuration, implementation, and enhancement of ServiceNow IRM solutions, including risk registers, assessments, scoring models, and workflows.
- Develop and maintain platform logic using Flow Designer, business rules, Script Includes, UI policies, and automation components.
- Ensure solutions align with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM), maintaining proper service relationships, ownership, and data integrity.
- Design and support integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs, Integration Hub, and other integration frameworks.
- Implement scalable and maintainable configurations aligned with ServiceNow best practices and governance standards.
- Participate in platform upgrades, evaluating new IRM features and recommending adoption where appropriate.
Operations, Stability, and Platform Optimization
- Provide technical ownership and ongoing support for IRM and related risk modules in production environments.
- Monitor integrations, workflows, and platform processes to ensure reliability, performance, and data accuracy.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement sustainable, long-term solutions.
- Maintain dashboards, reporting structures, and data models that support business visibility into risk posture.
- Continuously improve platform scalability, automation, and operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Technical Leadership
- Work closely with platform engineering, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and data teams to ensure alignment across the technology ecosystem.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate ServiceNow risk capabilities into broader enterprise workflows.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to other engineers and administrators.
- Contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and governance practices.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to both technical and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience working with enterprise SaaS platforms, including 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow engineering or development experience.
- Recent, hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including data models, workflows, scripting, access controls, and automation.
- Solid understanding of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and its role in supporting enterprise architecture and service relationships.
- Experience working with non-ITSM ServiceNow modules, such as IRM, BCM, TPRM, SecOps, or other governance and risk solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to follow, execute, and enhance technical roadmaps in alignment with strategic initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex systems and recommend improvements.
- Experience designing scalable technical solutions and supporting enterprise integrations.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional IT teams and business stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and ability to operate effectively in a transformation-focused environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist in IRM, BCM, or TPRM.
- Experience supporting risk transformation, governance, or compliance technology initiatives.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow platform architecture, scoped applications, and deployment practices.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems using APIs and Integration Hub.
- Experience with other governance, risk, and compliance platforms such as RSA Archer, MetricStream, LogicGate, or OneTrust.
- Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments undergoing platform or risk transformation.
