The ServiceNow Security Delivery Lead is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow Security solutions, ensuring successful implementation, integration, and adoption across the organization. This role combines deep ServiceNow platform expertise, strong security domain knowledge, and proven delivery leadership to drive high-quality outcomes for complex, enterprise-scale programs.
The Delivery Lead partners closely with clients, security stakeholders, product owners, architects, and delivery teams to translate security and compliance requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned to business objectives.
The Work
Delivery & Program Leadership
- Lead end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow Security programs, including SecOps (SPC, VR, SIR) and Integrated Risk Management / GRC (TPRM, RM, BCM) modules
- Own delivery governance, planning, execution, risk management, and reporting across multiple workstreams
- Ensure delivery is on time, within scope, and meets quality, security, and compliance expectations
- Proactively manage dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests
Solution & Platform Oversight
- Collaborate with architects and technical leads to design scalable, secure, and maintainable ServiceNow solutions
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, platform standards, and security controls
- Guide configuration and customization decisions to balance functionality, maintainability, and upgradeability
- Oversee integrations with security tools (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability scanners, IAM, CMDB)
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary delivery contact for security, risk, compliance, and IT stakeholders
- Facilitate executive-level discussions, status reviews, and decision-making forums
- Translate business and security requirements into actionable delivery plans and platform designs
- Build trusted advisor relationships with client leadership and sponsors
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Here's what you need
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT delivery, with 5+ years leading ServiceNow implementations
- Minimum of 5 years of strong hands-on and delivery experience with ServiceNow Security Operations and/or IRM (GRC)
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience leading large-scale, complex enterprise programs
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in Agile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery models
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist – SecOps or IRM, CSA)
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with security tools (SIEM, vulnerability scanners, threat intel platforms)
- Consulting or system integrator background
- Experience in regulated industries (financial services, telecom, healthcare, utilities)
- Strong understanding of CMDB, ITOM, and enterprise architecture concepts
