Job Title: Service Now Administrator IV Location-Type: Remote Start Date Is: 2 weeks from offer Duration: 1 year contract (potential to extend) Compensation Range: 55-65/hr

About the Role

Ahold Delhaize is one of the world's largest food retail groups, operating five major U.S. supermarket brands serving millions of customers weekly. Their IT organization is investing in ServiceNow platform modernization and needs a strong developer to join the team.

You'll be developing and enhancing ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CMDB, Discovery, SecOps, ITOM, and CSM. This role spans scripting, integrations, UX improvements, and technical debt reduction — all within a fast-paced Agile environment with quick release cycles and heavy cross-functional collaboration.

Job Description:

  • Develop and enhance ServiceNow solutions primarily across ITSM, with exposure to CMDB, Discovery, SecOps, ITOM, and CSM modules
  • Build new platform capabilities and enhancements while reducing technical debt and returning customizations to out-of-box functionality
  • Support and extend 50 integrations using MID Server, REST/SOAP APIs, and IntegrationHub spokes
  • Partner with Service Delivery, Product Owners, Architects, and Solution Teams on story delivery
  • Participate in full SDLC including Dev, QA, UAT, Show Me sessions, and Production releases
  • Improve user experience across Service Portal, Mobile, UI Builder, and Agent Workspace
  • Support production release windows and Agile sprint delivery cadence

Requirements:

  • Strong ServiceNow development experience with scripting (Glide API, server/client scripts, business rules, UI policies/actions, Flow Designer)
  • Experience across ITSM modules
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification — required
  • Experience with enterprise integrations including REST/SOAP APIs and MID Server
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong understanding of ITSM processes and platform best practices
  • Comfortable supporting release windows outside normal business hours as needed

Nice-to-have:

  • CMDB and CSDM alignment experience
  • Discovery and service mapping experience
  • Exposure to SecOps, ITOM, and CSM modules
  • Experience with Service Portal, UI Builder, Agent Workspace, and Mobile
  • Understanding of ACLs and security concepts
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications (CIS, CAD)
  • Experience with platform modernization and reducing customizations
