Role Overview:
As a leading provider of ServiceNow solutions, we bring unparalleled expertise and resources to federal projects. In this pivotal role, you will implement ServiceNow for a significant federal agency. It requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, secure operations, and agile methodologies. You will drive the development of scalable and compliant solutions in ITSM, ITOM, and custom applications while mentoring junior developers and promoting DevSecOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement innovative ServiceNow solutions for ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and custom applications.
- Create and deploy custom ServiceNow applications and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to analyze user stories, requirements, and wireframes.
- Develop workflows, business rules, and automation utilizing Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
- Lead ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and module deployments.
- Conduct code reviews and establish development standards to ensure security best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues to maintain stability and performance.
- Produce technical documentation and provide training for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with RMF, FedRAMP, and other federal security frameworks.
- Support software accreditation and uphold application integrity.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
- Current ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or Certified System Administrator.
- Expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow Studio, along with experience in ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevSecOps principles.
- Experience with RMF and federal software accreditation processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ITOM Specialist, Performance Analytics, HRSD).
- Background in FedRAMP, NIST, or DoD compliance frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
- Knowledge of integrating ServiceNow with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs).
- Prior experience with federal agencies or defense programs.
- Demonstrable leadership in technical teams, including mentoring, code reviews, and performance feedback.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Bachelor's degree.
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is a must.
We offer competitive compensation, and the expected pay range for this position is between $127,100 and $161,100 USD, depending on various factors such as office location, role, skill set, and experience level. We encourage applications continuously and do not have a fixed application deadline.
