Job Description:

Must-Have Skills to Look For

• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform (not just ticketing usage)
• Experience with ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
• Good understanding of CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
• CI classes and relationships
• Data governance and accuracy
• Exposure to ServiceNow configuration / development concepts
• Workflows / Flow Designer
• Business Rules (basic understanding)
• Solid IT Project Management experience (7+ years)
• Experience managing end-to-end project delivery (SDLC)
• Strong knowledge of Agile / Scrum / Waterfall methodologies
• Experience in IT Operations / Infrastructure environment
• Ability to handle incident management, triaging, and reporting
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work as a client-side PM (business-focused mindset)
• Experience managing multiple projects (portfolio-level visibility)
• Strong risk management (RAID), planning, and coordination skills
• Hands-on ServiceNow development or implementation experience
• Exposure to ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping
• Certifications like PMP, ITIL, or ServiceNow certifications
• Experience in enterprise-scale environments

What to Watch Out For (Red Flags)

• Only mentions ServiceNow as a ticketing tool
• No understanding of CMDB structure or governance
• Talks mainly about operations, not project delivery
• Focuses on vendor/margin/billing instead of business outcomes
• Cannot explain portfolio-level management
