ServiceNow ITAM Developer - SAM/HAM

As a highly skilled ServiceNow ITAM Developer with 4 - 8 years of experience, your role will involve working on Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) modules within the ServiceNow platform. You should have a deep technical understanding of ServiceNow scripting, integrations, and ITAM implementations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, configuring, and customizing solutions within the ServiceNow ITAM platform, with a focus on SAM & HAM modules.
• Implementing and enhancing ITAM workflows, lifecycle processes, and automation for enterprise asset management.
• Developing custom applications, UI policies, client scripts, business rules, Script Includes, and other ServiceNow components.
• Integrating ServiceNow with third-party tools using REST, SOAP, APIs, MID Server, and other methods.
• Performing data imports, normalization, reconciliation, license compliance management, hardware audits, and discovery validations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex platform issues, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensuring adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and ITAM governance processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4 - 8 years of hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITAM, focusing on SAM Pro and HAM Pro modules.
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting (Client & Server-side).
• Proven experience with ServiceNow Integrations (REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server).
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes, CMDB, Discovery, and asset lifecycle management.
• Experience with data models, transformations, import sets, and license reconciliation.
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
